2025 Veteran Honorees

2025 Voice From The Stone Honorees: Samuel N. Millington (Civil War KIA) and Levi D. Millington (Civil War KIA)

The “Voice From the Stone” honorees for 2025 are brothers Samuel and Levi Millington, killed in action during the Battle of Shiloh in the Civil War.  They served alongside their father Otis in the 46th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and he was present at their deaths. Through them we honor all those whose names are on the monument, especially those who served and died during the Civil War, on this the 160th Anniversary of its end.
